Connie Schuh

I firmly believe that everyone is creative – some people embrace that, and some deny it. And I have lived in both of those camps. I loved art since childhood but always hid my artwork from the world because I didn’t think it was good enough. That began to change eight years ago when I was challenged to call myself an artist, not make excuses concerning my art, and stop comparing myself and my paintings to others. It’s been a wonderful, scary, exciting, and growing time for me. Playing with paint and color while trying to capture the light and dark of shadows is extremely satisfying, while creation, my spiritual journey, and a desire to see God in everything are my motivations and joy.
