CLAUDIA CHAPMAN
Claudia Chapman has drawn and painted all her life. Her education included two years of fine arts at UCLA before settling on English literature as her major, but she never stopped painting. She has taken many workshops from internationally renowned wildlife artists such as John Banovich, Terry Isaacs and Guy Combes.
The natural world and wildlife have been subjects of study and painting since Claudia was 12. Her goal as an artist is to portray the complex beauty of nature, capture the essence of wildlife, and inspire the viewer. She strives to portray a wide range of natural relationships and portraits, interweaving light and atmosphere into habitat. Her continuing extensive travels afford opportunities to observe and gather fresh resource materials. Passionate about the conservation of wildlife and habitat, she always strives to better portray the wonders of nature. Her style is realistic and detailed. Her paintings are in private collections nationally and internationally.
