Cheryl Folkers

I’m Cheryl Folkers and am a self-taught artist. I have been painting since 2017, with a focus on the great outdoors.  My subject matter is usually nature, whether it is landscape, waterfalls or mountains, it brings me back to my roots having grown up in Montana.  I’ve been in SW Washington for the past 35 years and love the green forests, rivers and ocean, and all the beauty that it provides.

As I jump into this new adventure, I’ve found that it is scary, rewarding and always a journey to new and creative experiences.  I live for the challenge of capturing the atmosphere and looking to create the true values and colors of the subject.
